A LIVE View of an interesting scene will bring traffic to your Web Site Offerings.
Only a commercial quality, high-resolution, low lux camera can deliver a decent dependable picture.

When you offer your Web Site Customer a live “Web Camera” view, you need to have access to a true CCD (dependable commercial quality) camera. Weather you need a “Fixed View Camera” or a sophisticated camera with remote activated Pan Tilt and Zoom controls, Denoncour Business Services can help you select and install your commercial grade CCTV camera.

In the Electronics Trade, we typically refer to three divisions: Broadcast, Commercial, and Consumer. The Broadcast division supplies the local television stations and national networks with their very sophisticated and very expensive equipment. The Consumer Division supplies the home consumer with the brands and quality we tend to expect from the discount store.

The Commercial Division supplies a network of security professionals with high quality, rugged, and dependable CCTV products. The versatility of the Commercial Grade CCTV products makes this the right choice for a professionally managed and professionally designed Web Site. Most likely, you will be considering a COLOR 1/3” CCD chip camera. The most common choice for power options would be a 24-volt AC unit.

The location of the camera is an important consideration. A 4mm lens will provide a 45-degree view. A 2.6mm lens will provide about a 90-degree view. There are also 16mm and 25mm lenses for telephoto views. Additionally you may wish to consider a camera with a Zoom Lens in order to adjust these views either locally on site, or remotely from your Web Connection.

The lens can have a manual iris, a Video Auto Iris or a DC Auto Iris Lens. The Lux rating of the camera and the F-stop reading of the lens can be very important considerations in order to achieve good quality images. You may wish to use an environmental housing to protect the camera.

If the run from the camera to the LAN or Internet connection is less than 700 ft, then you will be using RG59U -95% copper braided Coax. If the distance is more than 700 feet, you'll want to change to RG6.

Power for the camera (usually 24 volt AC) should be “Home Run” to the same outlet as the Internet connection. This helps reduce Ground Faults and lightning damage.

As a Web Page Designer, you can benefit by having the Web Camera Design detailed by an experienced CCTV supplier like Denoncour Business Services or have us design the entire site.
